word puzzle game

“Wordica” dates back to 2012 with our project called “WordBox: Word Puzzle Game!” At the outset, we achieved global feature in the “Games” section from Apple AppStore and received the “Best Game of the Month” award in the English online publication. The design was executed by the “Try Soda” team, who also worked on the design for the “Accordion” application that Steve Jobs showcased during the presentation of the first iPad.

WordBox was a paid app targeted at an intellectual audience. Encouraged by positive player and critic feedback, we decided to create a mass-market product, incorporating public feedback. Request was for more levels and a shift to a free-to-play model.

That’s how we came up with the idea to create one of the best word puzzles, complete with interesting mechanics, tasks, and an engaging narrative. Here are some features of our game:
